My niece, Elizabeth, and I took a trip to Japan during cherry-blossom season. We were there for two weeks staying in hostels in Tokyo and Kyoto. We took a train to Kamakura, rented a motorcycle to Nara and rode the Nara-Okuyama Drive Way, and took 3 trains, a bus and a car to spend one night at Takaragawa Onsen in Ousenkaku. A lot of sushi and a lot of sake.
Elizabeth is also a photographer so we spent most of our time snapping pics, but we also ate and shopped a lot. We even got to see the Emperor himself.
Here are a few photos from the trip. I haven’t gone through all of them yet so will continue to add more as time goes by. Japan was magical and I can’t wait to return.
